Mr & Mrs KN bought their 22yr old home in the hills above Bingley west Yorkshire, with it they inherited a 22yr old existing ground source heat pump system with under floor heating.
The existing heat pump had not been looked after and never serviced, therefore it was broken and requiring a complete overall.
Mr & Mrs KN contacted YRES through the web site and asked for some advice. The YRES team visited their home and it was agreed that the existing heat pump was beyond repair and a new system was suggested.
YRES gave costs for both Air source heat pump and ground source heat pump options, once the calculations hade been caried out a twin Vaillant 12kW air source heat pump option was their preferred option.
YRES decommissioned the existing system and had the old heat pumps safely disposed of, and a new cascade system was installed and connected to their under floor heating.
